Pranabendu Moitra

Interested in understanding the physico-chemical processes associated with magma generation, migration, and emplacement on the surface of Earth with implications for volcanic hazards.  Additionally, he investigates the volcanic eruption dynamics on the surface of other planetary bodies (Moon, Mars) to understand the evolution of planetary interiors.
