Become an Astrobiology Ambassador!

Astrobiology Ambassadors Club

The Astrobiology Ambassadors Club (AABC) plays an important role in fostering scientific curiosity, promoting inclusive engagement, and cultivating interdisciplinary thinking within the University of Arizona community and beyond.

Ambassadors are undergraduate and graduate students from diverse academic backgrounds who meet to explore astrobiology topics, develop science communication and leadership skills, and collaborate on outreach initiatives. Through activities like organizing events, writing and producing curriculum, activities, and media, and volunteering in local schools, Ambassadors make astrobiology relevant and accessible to the public.

By participating in the Ambassadors program, students strengthen their science knowledge and communication abilities while also developing critical competencies in education, teamwork, cultural responsiveness, and public engagement—skills essential for scientists, educators, and many other future professional roles
