Michael Marty

Associate Professor, Chemistry & Biochemistry

He is focused on developing new technologies to study interactions at biological membranes with a special focus on combing lipoprotein nanodiscs and native mass spectrometry. He is also focused on characterizing membrane protein-protein and membrane protein-lipid interactions.  He seeks to understand how lipids influence membrane proteins important in cancer. Additionally, he investigates the assembly of antimicrobial peptide complexes that also show anticancer activity.
