In this module, students will learn about the fascinating world of astrobiology and explore the exciting question, 'Could life exist beyond Earth?' Students will use their imaginations, inspired by literature, to think about the possibilities of life beyond Earth, as well as the alien-like microorganisms that inhabit our own planet. 

Lesson 1 is an introduction to astrobiology. In Lesson 2, students role-play the work of being an astrobiologist, while Lesson 3 explores the past, present, and future of life on Earth. 

The K-2 modules do not need to be completed sequentially; you can pick and choose which modules work for your classroom. If you live in the Tucson Metro area, you can check out a science kit with all of the materials to complete the lessons! Just fill out this form.
