The Astrobiology Interdisciplinary Research Seed Grant 2026/27
The Arizona Astrobiology Center (AABC) is pleased to announce the 2026–2027 AABC Seed Grant Program. The program supports innovative, interdisciplinary projects that advance astrobiology research, education, engagement, and creative inquiry across the University of Arizona.
Applications due Friday, October 30, 2026, at 5 p.m. Submission platform opens: Thursday, October 1.
AABC welcomes proposals that represent the broad scope of astrobiology, including the natural and physical sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities, arts, education, and interdisciplinary collaborations connecting these areas. We especially encourage proposals that create meaningful research and professional development opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. Projects may use Seed Grant funds to support undergraduate or graduate student researchers and should describe the students’ roles in the proposed work.
