Please join us at the Arizona Astrobiology Center on Thursday, April 25, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. for an evening event featuring Dr. Caleb Scharf, senior scientist for astrobiology at the NASA Ames Research Center. 

The format is a salon-style discussion, designed to be an informal, yet intellectually stimulating conversation about the current state and future prospects for astrobiology research.

ABOUT CALEB SCHARF
Dr. Scharf is a renowned expert in exoplanetary science and astrobiology, with a focus on understanding the formation and properties of planets around other stars. His research aims to discover planets that could potentially support life and to detect the presence of that life.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Scharf served as the director of astrobiology at Columbia University and has received numerous accolades for his work, including the prestigious Carl Sagan Medal for excellence in public communication in planetary science.
